The Science and cultural exhibition of C P Higher Secondary
School, Kuttikkadu was held on 20th and 21st of November 2008 and it has been
conducting for the last three years. Besides the Science batches, the Humanities and
commerce batches also actively participated and there were about twelve stalls
exhibiting the scientific talents of the students.
The most eye-catching and superb item was the exhibition
showing the “Chandrayaan - A Journey to Moon” and it was performed by the plus
two science students. For watching this event, there were arrived about 2000 students
from various neighborhood school and “Chandrayaan-A Journey to Moon” was
performed in two stalls. In one of the stalls, with the help of the video pictures, there
was an elaborate description from the origin of the universe to the Chandrayan future
mission. In accordance with the pictures showing the various facets of the moon, the
students give a description for each and thus they were able to make the effect of a
documentary for that they prepared a script and they could introduce a well before the
audience.
In order to give a fulfillment for the narration, the students
carefully prepared the various models of Chandrayaan payloads and the PSLV in the
next stall. Even a Upper Primary level student who saw the show could get a more or
less good idea of the Chandrayaan Project. When our neighborhood countries became
envious of our achievement in space escavations, each of the Indian is being proud of
our effort and there created a patriotic pride in their minds. This was visibly seen in
the students who watched the show.
So many dignified personalities such as Mrs.C.P Chithra,
Director of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, Prof.Raveendranath, Managing
Director, Horticorp, Kerala State etc:- watched the show and made good remarks.
Ultimately it was a grand success. |
